If you link to someone's social media post, be sure to tag them (eg @ on Twitter or tag their business page or blog on Facebook) so they can see your link. They can retweet, share your post on Facebook or just thank you.
Linking isn't a good way to get attention (and hopefully, get you some reciprocal posts). Also show your audience:
- Read about your field or specialty and have lots of up-to-date knowledge to share.
- This is a valuable place to find links to posts you may have missed.
- You are a generous person who wants to share great content that will be useful to your readers; You don't always just link to your post.
Step 5: Write a guest post for a blog you follow
You may be worried that you are not yet ready for a guest post; Maybe you think you need at least 1000 subscribers.
The truth is that most blogs don't care about the size of your audience - they care about how well you can write for their audience .

Step 6: Optimize high traffic posts
When you get traffic to your blog, whether through search engines or links in guest bios, you want to get the most out of these new readers.
Although I am definitely not an SEO expert and have made a conscious effort to create posts to get good ranks and lots of traffic…
...though I may log into Google Analytics from time to time to see which posts are bringing in the most traffic

Once you've set up your analytics account, log in and check your website statistics at least once a week
To see the most popular content, Go to Behavior Flow > Site Content > Landing Pages.
It should show you the top pages of your website based on the number of visitors. Here's mine from last month:
You'll find that when you've been blogging for a long time, a few posts stand out from the crowd. As you can see above, my first post last month received 2,027 visits and my tenth post only received 363 visits - a big difference.

Why not use posts that already work well? This means doing one or more of the following:
Update your posts quickly to remove broken links, old references, etc. You may want to go a step further and review your entire core sites.
A link to a post you recently posted (you obviously weren't able to link to this post when you posted it).
Add a call to action to encourage readers to subscribe to your blog.
Create new content on the same topic as the post ("Renew Content"), but move on; You can use email as a special incentive to register.
Includes links to related products or services that you now own
It doesn't take much of your time, but it can pay to turn regular readers into old fans.
If you follow this plan and keep optimizing comments, guest posting, and content with good performance, you'll be well on your way to 1,000 subscribers.
